Ruby wiped the moisture off the fur above his eyes. It wasn’t sweat—mice didn’t sweat—but the humidity inside Emberfang’s womb made everything damp. He might have been blind, but having fox fluids trickling into his eyes was still distracting. His sodden blindfold was only so helpful; he’d stopped bothering to wring it out an hour ago. The tired mouse took a deep breath of fox-scented air and tried to focus on his task.

The velvety lining of the vixen’s womb was covered in runic spells. The first ones he’d inspected were the essentials: the runes that kept the air fresh, the runes that helped keep her womb clean, and of course the ones that kept the chamber stretched open, so his job was possible without constantly shoving her flesh out of the way just to get enough room to work. Ruby’s senses for magic were the best in the village: he could “see” the magic flowing through Emberfang’s body and through the runes traced into her womb walls. It made him well-suited for internal maintenance like this; he could do in mere hours what took a team of mice all night. He preferred writing spells to fixing them, of course, but it was important work. This was the first time he’d been trusted to do it alone, and he wanted to prove that trust hadn’t been misplaced.

The inactive runes in front of him were dim, but the magically-conductive ink was still brighter to his senses than the fox’s inner flesh. He recognized them as healing runes right away; he’d already inspected and touched up several identical spells earlier tonight, on other parts of her womb. Healing was one of the major services Emberfang provided (though far from the only one); with a womb’s natural affinity for life magic, hers was the most magic-efficient place to do it, whether it was quick field healing or long-term intensive treatment.

The chain of runes ran in arc up the wall, across the ceiling, and down the other side. Ruby followed them with one paw, gently but firmly pressing it into the slick and plush flesh to observe how the runes stretched and squished along with the fox’s body. Still good condition, except… He did see a few spots wearing thin while stretching and spreading her walls.

Simple enough to fix with his brush. Ruby dipped it in one of the rune-ink containers on his shoulder belt—making sure to reseal the lid afterward—and carefully repainted the older runes. One stroke at a time. The fresh ink glowed to his senses, sitting just a bit atop the old ones.

It was delicate work, which was why it was traditionally done while the bearer was asleep. Painting an even line on slick, living flesh was hard enough without them walking around. And it required exceptional stoicism to hold still for hours without getting restless… or playful. Which, while fun for everyone involved, was not exactly productive. Thus, sleep. Though even with Emberfang asleep, Ruby made sure to keep his inkpots tightly sealed just in case she rolled over. He never wanted to clean up a another rune-ink spill if he could help it.

The mouse inspected his brushwork, making sure the new strokes were as even as he could make them. Satisfied, he took a ceramic tablet from his belt and held it to the womb wall. He could have powered the spell himself, but Emberfang had a lot more magic in reserve than he did, so it was easier to tap into hers. That was just how things worked. Small animals had the deft paws to write the spells, and big animals had the magic to power them. One of the many mutually beneficial relationships the village was built on.

Her magic flowed into the tablet’s runes, activating the engraved spell to finalize his work. As he watched, the ink sank into her flesh, melding with the older runes to make them good as new. They probably would have kept working for a couple years, Ruby estimated. But it was always better to touch it up now rather than have it break when they needed it.

Ruby tucked the tablet back into his shoulder belt and sat back. He let himself slide down the wall, lying against the cushy floor. Even with the runes keeping Emberfang stretched, the tunnel was too narrow to lie crosswise, so he squirmed to get his head and tail aligned with hers. If he deactivated that spell, her walls would squish down on him like an all-encompassing hug. It was very tempting, but he knew it’d be too comfortable. He’d never finish his task. Instead, Ruby just sighed and relaxed in her warmth, basking in the comforting sounds of Emberfang’s steady breathing and the regular rise and fall1 of her heartbeat. He could feel her pulse in the squishy flesh molded against his back, speeding up on every breath in and slowing with every breath out.

He could definitely fall asleep like this, too, so Ruby forced himself to take stock of his progress. He was about three-quarters done, perhaps a bit more. Emberfang’s cervix opened onto a central chamber that split into two long tunnel-like horns—normally right and left, but currently up and down with her sleeping position. This was normal for a fox, as he understood it; he hadn’t seen (let alone been inside of) any other vixen to compare her against. He’d already finished the lower horn and the main body of her womb, and he was halfway through the upper one. The mouse looked up at the last few inches he had to cover; just one more body length to the end. Nearly done, he told himself. Then I can go and sleep. No, wait. First I go bother Ashpaw… and then I can sleep.

Ashpaw, a silver fox, was Emberfang’s mate and his closest friend in the village. Ruby had spent a lot of time around—and in—the fox. He’d always been a sickly mouse, marked soon after birth by his white fur and red eyes. It was a miracle he survived to adulthood; when his condition then took a turn for the worse, he’d been given to a fledgling Ashpaw along with a simple instruction: “keep him alive”. Ever since the two had been inseparable. He didn’t need the fox’s healing baths as often anymore, but he still had a fondness for the fox. One which was very much mutual.

A bath sounds lovely. As Ruby’s thoughts drifted towards Ashpaw, he caught his paws drifting between his hinds and had to force himself to stop. He didn’t want to be any more distracted than he already was. Pawing off wasn’t an option—not that Emberfang would mind, but he wanted to save himself for Ashpaw.

He was extra glad he hadn’t when there was a momentary interruption in the fox’s breathing and a gentle shift in the chamber, like she’d moved a leg in her sleep. Someone was coming to visit. Only one person was likely to crawl into Emberfang in the middle of the night: Probably Duskfur.

Ruby’s suspicions were confirmed as soon as the first furry paw, twice as big as any of his, slid through the fox’s cervix. Duskfur, Emberfang’s right-paw squirrel, knew her inside and out. He demonstrated as much when he slipped a second paw through and massaged the muscular ring open with such ease it seemed effortless. (Ruby, who was much smaller, knew it was anything but.)

The squirrel poked his head into the sleeping fox’s womb. “Ruby? Are you still in here?”

“I’m here,” Ruby called back, still lying on his back, deep in her upper uterine horn. He stifled a yawn.

“…ah, of course you’d have the lights off.” Duskfur squeezed further inside and felt for the control glyph on the wall, his paw sliding over the slick flesh. He knew right where it was—normally underpaw, now on the right—and gave it a light jolt of his own magic.

All over the fox’s womb, light runes shimmered to life. To the blind mouse, they just glowed a little brighter, but to Duskfur, they cast a warm glow over Emberfang’s inner depths. He blinked a couple times. The velvety pink walls glistened in the light, coated in slickness. To a lesser extent, so did he, his melanistic black fur partly matted down from his trip inside.

The squirrel stepped all the way through the cervix, fluffy tail folded up against his back, and allowed it to seal up behind him. He took up most of the space in the main body of Emberfang’s womb, his head pressed against the ceiling and flattening his ears. With the upper horn of her womb at eye level, he spotted Ruby right away, the mouse’s white fur obvious deep in that fleshy tunnel.

“I just wanted to check on you,” Duskfur said. “You’ve been at this for a couple hours. I brought you a snack, to keep your energy up.” He lifted a blueberry out of a pouch slung across his chest.

“I’m fine,” Ruby said, absently pawing at his slick belly fur. Actually, he was hungry. He’d been so lost in focus that he hadn’t noticed. “But I’ll take the berry.” The mouse rolled onto his front and scurried back down towards Duskfur, poking his head back into the main chamber. He held out both paws, lying just inside the upper tunnel of womb flesh.

The squirrel chuckled at the sight and handed off the berry. “How’s the upkeep going?”

“Nearly finished,” Ruby said. “I’ve done the main room, the left—lower—horn, and I’m halfway done with this one.” He nibbled at the blueberry. Maybe it was a snack for a squirrel, but it was an entire meal for him.

“Great. It’s amazing how fast you work, you know. Last time we had six mice in here and they still weren’t done by sunrise.” A rueful smile flit across his muzzle. “Having to hold still an extra two hours was not how Ember wanted to start the day.”

“Mhm,” Ruby grunted while he ate. He remembered.

“You keep the place a lot smaller, too. I can barely move,” Duskfur joked, pressing his paws against the walls. They sank into the flesh, the right stretching further and easier than the left; the left was solid fox, while on the right there were only a few layers of flesh, fat, muscle and fur between them and the outside.

Ruby let out a squeaky chuckle. “Sorry. It’s more efficient this way. Any bigger and it’s easy to waste ink on the runes.”

“I’ll defer to your expertise.” The squirrel smiled, then stifled a yawn. “Mmh. You need anything else?”

“No. I’m fine.” Ruby shook his head. “Although—how is she?”

“Sleeping soundly. I didn’t wake her.”

“She must be tired. I don’t know how she sleeps through a squirrel climbing into her…”

Duskfur chuckled. “Hey, I’m not that much bigger than you. Well, maybe a bit. The trick is, though, I know all the spots not to press.”

“Does it really work like that?”

“More or less. It’s easy once you get the hang of it.” He yawned again. “I should probably go. You’ll be all right?”

“Yeah. Thank you for the berry!”

“No problem,” Duskfur said, fighting a losing battle against his third yawn. “Mm… just have to turn around…”

The squirrel didn’t actually manage to leave. When Ruby got back to work, Duskfur was curled up and snoozing, snuggled up into the fox’s cushy womb walls.

And he was still there when the mouse finished. Ruby looked back at the squirrel from the back of the fox’s upper womb, leaning back against the end of the tunnel-like horn. The runes encircling the end, the gate to long-term storage, had been especially complex. Next time I should start there and work my way back.

Ruby was tempted to follow Duskfur’s example and just sleep here, but the allure of Ashpaw was strong enough to overcome his sleepiness and Emberfang’s comfiness combined. He walked on all fours back down the womb and dropped down onto the sleeping squirrel as lightly as he could. Duskfur was soggier now than when he’d first arrived, but still had a ways to go to be as soaked as Ruby. The mouse crawled over the squirrel, reaching one paw out to the ring of the fox’s cervix.

Duskfur mumbled in his sleep.

Ruby hesitated, then reached for the squirrel’s shoulder and gently rocked him. “Duskfur,” he whispered.

The squirrel’s ears twitched. “Hm? Wha?” he asked, only half awake.

“You fell asleep,” Ruby said. “I finished, so I’m leaving now.”

“Oh, right on,” Duskfur mumbled. “I’ll be right out…”

“All right.” The mouse reached for Emberfang’s cervix and gently stroked it. The smooth muscle slowly relaxed under his paws, spreading open to reveal the folds beyond. Ruby liked to think he knew what he was doing, but he felt like an amateur compared to the squirrel under his paws. It took him longer to get her open less wide… but still, it was good enough.

Ruby pushed his head through, using his forelegs to make space for the belt across his chest. He squeezed through the tight opening and into the vixen’s silken tunnel, getting a fresh coating of a slightly different scent of fox slick. The air here was much headier, but Ruby took a deep breath anyway, filling his lungs with the scent of fox pussy. He squirmed his way out, pressing his paws into smooth flesh to push himself onward. The walls quivered around the mouse, hugging close to his body—even squeezing, once, when he pushed with his paw—but he pressed on and soon poked his head out into the cool night air.

Well, mostly. A lot cooler and night-ier, but nearly more fluff than air, as Emberfang’s bushy black tail was draped right over her nethers. Gripping the slightly plump lips of the vixen’s spade, Ruby pulled himself out behind her hindlegs, trying to turn his head away from her ticklish tail fur. He slid down her haunch and onto the floor of the den, packed clean earth. Taking his first breaths of outside air in hours, Ruby stretched, then padded off. He followed the solid wall of fur made by Emberfang’s tail, walking past her hindpaws to continue past her belly.

He glanced at it—even though his eyes didn’t work, the instinct to point his snout at whatever he was focused on was strong—lingering on the swell under her belly fur. For someone sighted, Emberfang would have been a mere silhouette, the deep blacks and fiery oranges of her fur nigh imperceptible in the scant moonlight coming from the tunnel to the surface. Ruby could see her just fine, her magic showing the contours of her body, though there was more than enough flesh and fur in the way to hide any sign of Duskfur’s own magic. I wonder if Duskfur is actually coming out tonight.

The mouse turned away and walked through the darkness, past the fox’s forelegs and her head, tucked up against them. He looked up at her, then away. When she spoke he nearly jumped out of his fur.

“Hello, Ruby,” Emberfang whispered. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you.”

He realized she had one eye open, looking back at him. It was easy to miss little details like that with his second sight. Though with how dark it was, it wasn’t like anyone sighted would have noticed either, he corrected himself. “No, no, it’s fine,” he said, his heart pounding. “I didn’t mean to wake you.” Oops. That must’ve been one of those spots.

“And yet here we both are.” The fox yawned, her mouth gaped and her tongue curled. “How did everything go?”

“All done,” Ruby said. “You’re in great shape.”

“And…?” Emberfang glanced towards her own belly, ears swiveling.

“That’s Duskfur,” the mouse supplied helpfully. She probably already knows. “He came in to check on me, then ended up falling asleep. I woke him up; he said he’d be right out.”

“Mm…” The vixen stared off into space. “No, he’s asleep again. That’s all right; he can stay there and get extra sleep for once.” She lowered her head back down, pointed at Ruby. A slow exhale rolled over him. “I turned off the lights for him.” She’d also turned off the stretching spell, the mouse noted, as the swell in her lower belly shrank to an almost imperceptible lump. The ensconced squirrel was well and truly snug now. A sleepy smile spread over Emberfang’s muzzle as she folded a foreleg and lightly pawed at her almost flat tummy.

Ruby couldn’t help but imagine feeling her womb walls squeezing down on him, holding him safe and secure. His cheeks grew hot.

“You could have too, if you like. Liked. Still can,” the tired vixen said. “I told you that last night, didn’t I…”

The mouse thought back to a few hours ago and nodded. “Yes, you did, but,” he said, trailing off as he struggled for words. “I was going to go bother Ashpaw. I, uh…”

“Ah… I should have guessed. Some other time, then.”

“Sorry, I…”

“Shhh.” The air hissed through her long muzzle. “Don’t worry. Go have fun with him. And…” Emberfang lifted her head and leaned forward, closing the distance between them in moments. She touched him with the side of her snout, a delicate touch as light as a feather despite her size and how fast she’d just moved. “Thank you,” she murmured, brushing him with her whiskers. “Sleep well, Ruby.”

Ruby held out a paw to stroke along the side of her snout, rubbing at the stiff hairs. “You too.”

Emberfang pulled back and set her head down again. She licked her snout where he’d rubbed her—is she sampling her flavor, or mine?—and closed her eyes to rest.

Ruby smiled at her and turned away. His destination wasn’t far; just the den’s other main sleeping chamber. Using the distant glows of runes and light crystals, he oriented himself and headed right for the main fox-sized tunnel. Normally he’d take a side route, through one of the tunnels built to fit squirrels and rats, but it was the middle of the night. Everyone was asleep; he could take the direct route.

Despite the late hour, Ruby had a spring in his step as he scurried along the passageway. He kept close to one wall, brushing it with his whiskers now and then. Earth and stone barely registered to his second sight, but he could have found his way by just scent and touch if he had to.

It was that rare time where everything was quiet. Even at dawn and dusk, there was plenty of activity in the den. It was only the middle of the night when things settled down. With his ears perked, all Ruby could hear were the sounds of three creatures breathing. Emberfang, her breaths fading behind him. His own, comparatively loud in the stillness. And those of the fox curled up in front of him, using his own tail as a pillow. Ashpaw. The silver fox took his name from his white-furred left forepaw, which stood out against the rest of his black and silvery fur. (Ruby was pretty sure it was the left one. He couldn’t see the difference in the fur color without sharing someone’s sight.)

The mouse stepped out of the tunnel and followed the wall to a set of cubbies. He slipped off his rune-inking equipment and his blindfold, placing them in one with paws that shook with barely-contained excitement. He’d been looking forward to this; not that he needed a particular excuse to spend time with Ashpaw, but he’d practically been teasing himself with thoughts of the fox for the past few hours.

As soon as he’d put his things away, Ruby scampered right up to the sleeping fox and climbed onto his tail, the thick and bushy fur providing plenty of places to grip. Standing atop it, he pushed his way through the fur like it was grass, making his way a few inches down to stand in front of Ashpaw’s muzzle. What better way to wake him up than with a noseful of his mate’s scent? Ruby hugged the fox’s snout, reaching his forepaws around to ruffle the stiff whiskers on either side. His half-hard shaft poked against the fox’s fur. And maybe some of mine, too…

Ashpaw breathed in, then out. Then in again, much longer and with very deliberate sniffs, his big nose twitching against Ruby’s body. The fox’s exhale washed over the mouse, a big gust of warm air against Ruby slick fur. He opened his eyes and slightly crossed them to focus on the tip of his own snout. “You can’t walk around smelling like that,” Ashpaw whispered, moving his mouth as little as possible. “People will think you’re her mouse instead of mine.” He wiggled his tail a little underneath the mouse. “Hold on.”

Ruby chuckled. “We wouldn’t want that, would we?” he said, gripping onto the sides of Ashpaw’s snout as instructed.

Ashpaw slowly uncurled himself, pulling his tail away and tipping his head up slightly to support Ruby on the tip of his nose. “Of course not. And it’s very distracting for me, personally.” He felt something prodding at his lips and lightly poked Ruby with his tongue, stealing a lick of the mouse’s stiff shaft. Ruby’s sweet excitement was detectable even through the musky flavor of his mate.

Ruby’s snicker ended in a little squeak of pleasure. He watched Ashpaw roll his lower half onto his side. Where there was blood, there was magic, and so the throb of the fox’s tip, peeking from his sheath, stood out like a beacon in the dark sea of fox fur. “We better cover up her scent, then.”

“Mm… good idea,” said the fox, like it wasn’t what they’d both wanted all along.

Holding himself in place with his front paws, the mouse felt around with his hinds, rubbing at Ashpaw’s lips and pressing past them to brush over the fox’s front teeth. “I was marinating for a while, though. It’ll take hours to get rid of it.”

“Fortunately, we have all night.” Ashpaw opened his mouth and licked at his nose, his tongue squishing against Ruby’s back and reaching almost to the mouse’s head.

Ruby shivered. He used his hold on the fox’s snout to wiggle against his tongue, then let go, trusting the slick muscle to catch him. It dipped under his weight, but supported him enough for him to slide down the curve, halfway into Ashpaw’s maw. Flanked by the fox’s front fangs—each bigger than his arm—Ruby kept his paws together as the fox pulled his tongue back inside, and him with it.

As soon as Ashpaw shut his jaws around him, Ruby rolled over and wrapped his legs around the fox’s tongue. He squeaked and thrust his shaft into the slippery surface, grinding against the flexing muscle larger than he was. The air here smelled faintly of what Ashpaw had for dinner (berries and fish), but Ruby didn’t mind in the slightest.

The tongue squished and twitched in his embrace, like a warm, living pillow. It lifted him, pressing him against the roof of the fox’s mouth, the ridged palate digging into Ruby’s back. He fit neatly between the rows of teeth, squeaking more as Ashpaw moved his tongue around, squishing the mouse against them. Tasting him. Like the tasty treat I am.

Ruby kept one foreleg around the tongue and stroked the other across the fox’s teeth. The sides were smooth to the touch. Even the points, which seemed so sharp at a distance, were rounded at the tips. None of the rodents in the village were afraid of their foxes, but not all were as cozy with them as Ruby. Ruby didn’t see what the big deal was. He liked Ashpaw’s teeth; he’d been picked up by them plenty of times, though usually by the incisors up front. Sure, the fox could bite him in half, but they could just as easily crush him with a paw if they wanted, and nobody seemed nearly as wary of those. Ruby couldn’t even beat a squirrel in a fight; he wasn’t afraid of Duskfur, so he had no reason to be afraid of Ashpaw.

Thus, Ruby had no reservations about availing himself of the unique opportunities afforded by being a tenth the size of his partner. In this case, gripping onto a pointy tooth and humping with wild abandon at Ashpaw’s tongue, sliding his shaft along the bumpy surface. It pushed back at him, and squeezed between teeth and tongue, Ruby nearly came right there. He had to force himself to slow down, hauling himself back from his peak, lest it be over too soon. The mouse panted, taking deep breaths of slightly stale, slightly fishy secondhand fox breath. In that moment, there was nothing he’d rather be smelling. Well, maybe one thing, he thought, as he felt the fox’s head moving.

Ashpaw couldn’t speak with a mouse humping his tongue, but he didn’t need to. He just rumbled around his partner, an approving noise almost more felt than heard. He did always love feeling little friends enjoy themselves, especially Ruby, but he wanted a bigger share of the fun. The silver fox twisted around to stick his snout into his own crotch, one hindleg held high in the air. He opened his mouth just wide enough to slip his shaft inside.

Ruby got his wish when the pointed canine cocktip slid in between Ashpaw’s fangs. A deep red compared to the mottled pink and black of Ashpaw’s mouth, it was bright to Ruby’s senses too, standing out against the dim flesh and dark shapes of the teeth.

The mouse scrambled back on top of the slick and squishy tongue to get his paws on that throbbing fox rod. He gripped the sides of it and nuzzled at the scooped tip, shaped so unlike his own—almost the inverse, really. It made a wonderful spot to rub his face against, whiskers bent against the hot, hard flesh, picking up each pulse of the fox’s heart. There were many ways to be close to Ashpaw, and while Ruby loved all of them, being close in multiple ways at once—like standing on the fox’s tongue and snuggling his shaft—was probably his favorite.

A strong throb rocked Ruby back against the tongue and soaked his front in warm precum2, oozing down from where Ashpaw’s tip was buried in his chest fur. That made the third fox fluid of the night, on top of Emberfang’s slick and Ashpaw’s saliva. Ruby was hoping to collect a fourth soon, but he could stand to appreciate the third more first. He shuffled backwards, planting little kisses on the foxcock all the way to the tip until he could reach the cumslit proper. The mouse nuzzled at the slippery slit, eagerly lapping up the oozing precum. Its sweet but thin flavor always left him wanting more, which Ashpaw’s cock was happy to provide. Ruby pressed his nose inside, whiskers folding back against his muzzle. He took a deep breath, filling his lungs with thick humid air, his mind with the heady scent of vulpine precum, and his body with warm fuzzy feelings. Nothing fanned the flames of his arousal like the scent of Ashpaw’s, his need so intense it was dizzying.

It was oh so tempting to push deeper right then—it was what they both wanted—but Ruby’s arousal, insistently throbbing against his belly, demanded attention first. The mouse reluctantly stopped making out with Ashpaw’s cock and pulled his snout free, his face completely smeared with precum.

A questioning grunt and its accompanying fox breath flowed over Ruby. “Soon,” the mouse reassured, feeling the tongue quiver under his paws. “One thing first.” He wasn’t worried; Ashpaw always let his rodent partners take the lead, except when they requested otherwise.

Ruby knew from experience just how capable the tongue under his paws could be. This time, it stayed put, besides the telltale wiggles of Ashpaw doing his best not to move it. The mouse shuffled forward, licking tasty precum off his snout. He gripped at Ashpaw’s shaft past the tip, leaning over it as he lined up to mount it.

Shlck. Every movement he made in the fox’s mouth made a soft squishy sound, but the sound of his shaft slipping into the fox’s much larger one stood out like it was the only sound in the world. Ruby shivered as slick, snug walls hugged his cock. He rested on Ashpaw’s, hugging it back with his forelegs.

The silver fox made a surprised grunt that quickly faded into a rumble of pleasure as Ruby started thrusting into his cock. He tried to hold his head still while the mouse in his jaws went to town. His tip was the most sensitive part of his length, so despite their size difference, the mouse was more than capable of hitting all the good spots.

Ruby gripped the vulpine cock as hard as he could, humping his mousy shaft into the tight and slippery urethra. He panted for breath, making little squeaks that no doubt were music to Ashpaw’s ears. Spending hours inside Ashpaw’s mate had affected him more than he thought. Now, standing on the fox’s tongue, rutting a cock bigger than he was, he could hardly hold himself back. And why would he? As soon as he was done here, he was diving into that shaft, to wash off Emberfang’s scent by soaking in fox cum.

The mouse let out a squeaky groan as his movements grew erratic. He gave a few more frantic thrusts into the fox’s pointed tip before burying himself as deep as he could in that accommodating cumslit. His balls tensed atop Ashpaw’s tongue, his hindpaws curling against the squishy surface as he blasted his load deep into the fox’s shaft. Ruby hugged the fox, squeaking as he rode out his peak. Rope after rope sank into that red vulpine length, slowly tapering off until Ruby slumped atop it, breathing hard. That felt like the biggest climax he’d had in a while. And it hadn’t even made a noticeable swell in the fox’s cock.

He definitely would, though. Ruby started to wiggle backwards, but his legs felt like jelly. “Can youuu—” The tired mouse trailed off in a yawn. “Can you tuck me in?”

Ashpaw chuckled around the mouse. Then he shut his jaws as much as he could and slurped Ruby right off his cock. He pressed the mouse to the roof of his mouth, squishing his tongue against them to savor the mix of flavors coating them. The traces of salty mouse cum really elevated the other flavors; far superior to any of them on their own, in his opinion.

Ruby stayed limp as the fox tasted him, relaxing into that squishy yet firm tongue as the muscle kneaded over him. Before he knew it he was snout to tip with the fox’s cock again. He could smell his own scent on it; a cloudy mix of mouse cum and fox pre was leaking from the tip. The mouse smiled to himself at the thought that’d he’d marked Ashpaw, too, even if it’d be gone by morning.

He felt the tongue lifting up behind him and nuzzled at Ashpaw’s supple tip just as the tongue pressed him in. With a slick squelch, his head sank into the fox’s cumslit, folding his whiskers and ears back against his head. The outside sounds cut out immediately; he couldn’t hear Ashpaw’s breathing anymore, just the steady pulse of the fox’s heartbeat coming from all around him. The tunnel was tight, but still plenty big for the mouse. If it fit his head, it could fit the rest.

Ashpaw pulled his tongue back, cupping it under Ruby’s rump (and nabbing another taste of the mouse’s package in the process). He lifted it and moved his head at the same time to firmly shove the mouse into his cock, huffing with pleasure as Ruby’s slick body slid in without any resistance. The fox finally uncurled, pulling his length out of his mouth. Only the mouse’s hindpaws and tail stuck out of his tip; the rest of Ruby was just a bulge in his urethra. As he watched, the bulge squirmed, and Ruby pulled himself a little deeper. His hindpaws slid out of sight, leaving just his twitching tail.

The fox shivered from the sensation. He leaned in close, his whiskers brushing against his own shaft. “Eager to get home?” he whispered. “Back to where you belong?”

Ruby’s lump wriggled, sending another warm rush of pleasure through the fox. “Please,” he heard Ruby say between labored, moaning squeaks.

“I won’t keep you waiting, then.” Ashpaw flexed, his hindpaws curling from the strength of his throb. The mouse’s tail slurped into his cock like a noodle, Ruby’s bulge sinking down to just above the bulbs of the his knot. Ashpaw traced one forepaw over his rod, reveling in the feeling of having Ruby held entirely within his shaft. A feeling he always enjoyed. The fox had to restrain himself from fondling any further; he was trying not to get too worked up.

Inside the fox’s cock, Ruby was experiencing true bliss. The mouse was squeezed from all sides, deep in the fox’s slimy urethra. He nuzzled at the walls, licking up the mix of pre and his own seed—mostly the former. There was so much fox scent swirling in his head that his afterglow had been cut short3, his shaft twitching with need against the inside of Ashpaw’s despite his recent climax. He felt the pressure of Ashpaw’s stroking paw slide over him and did his best to grind against it each time, imagining the little lump he made twitching underneath that furry paw.

Steadily, the mouse slid down, aided by slow ripples of the smooth tunnel around him. Frustratingly slow, to Ruby; he needed in those balls now. He squirmed to help himself along, pressing his paws into the slippery walls and wriggling deeper. The passage ahead narrowed, squished by the bulbs of the fox’s uninflated knot. It was tighter, but gave him something to push against.

Ashpaw shuddered and gasped as Ruby’s paws pressed against his sensitive knot from inside. It was almost overstimulating, coaxing out a stronger clench than he’d been planning. His cock twitched in the air, the mouse’s bulge shunted down past his knot, into his black-furred sheath, and out of sight.

Gripped by smooth, slick flesh, Ruby was squeezed through deep and twisting tunnels until his head poked into a roomy chamber. He took a deep breath of musky air before he pushed his forelegs inside and pulled himself in, tumbling with a splunk into a pool of fox cum. The fox’s balls wobbled from the impact, but barely showed any sign of their new occupant. Years of doing exactly this had given Ashpaw a hefty sack. One side was a little swollen; it showed slight movement as the mouse squirmed to right himself, pressing out against the slimy, stretchy walls and making faint imprints underneath the fox’s musky fur.

Ruby rolled onto his back, leaning back against the curved wall. He’d only just arrived, and he was already completely covered in fox cum, his fur drenched and soaked. It lapped against him, coming up to his belly, the waves from his arrival already settling down thanks to the stretchy walls. His cock poked above the surface of the seed, twitching and needy. He reached down to stroke it and leaned his head against the wall, breathing deep of the familiar fox fragrance.

Outside, Ashpaw panted softly as his friend got settled. The squirming in his balls had stopped, but the fox could still feel Ruby’s weight. He curled up to put his snout close to the furry orbs, ears perked to hear the muffled shlicks of the mouse’s self-pleasure. A smile turned the corners of his mouth, and he gave Ruby a little nudge, quite literally, pushing his nose into his own sack to squish the mouse between his cum-slicked inner walls. His smile widened as the mouse stiffened right away.

Ruby squeaked, squeezed tight between the walls of Ashpaw’s orbs. He shuddered as he hit his second peak, twitching against the fox’s insides. He splattered a few more ropes of mouse seed over himself and the slimy wall behind him, a completely insignificant amount compared to the pool he was bathing in.

Ashpaw reveled in the sensations. He could vaguely feel Ruby twitch against his walls, but having his snout right there meant he could feel every movement against his whiskers, letting him appreciate his friend’s peak in detail. When the mouse’s movements slowed, he pulled away, watching his sack wobble as it resettled around the mouse inside.

Ruby slid back down the wall, going totally limp and relaxing into the curved flesh behind him. He panted in the musky atmosphere, sprawling out and slipping further into the fox’s seed like he was enjoying a warm bath. The mouse let his thoughts drift along with his tail and legs, swaying with the currents of cum that swirled around him.

He vaguely registered that Ashpaw was talking to him. “Ruby,” the fox whispered. “Sleep in as long as you need. I’ll handle it.”

“Thanks… I will.” The mouse smiled and yawned. “Love you,” he murmured.

Ashpaw’s ears picked it up, even muffled by his sack walls. “Love you too. Rest well.” The fox twisted so his upper body matched his lower body, on his back, and curled up upside-down with his head by his hinds. He’d slept in weirder positions; he didn’t mind as long as it kept his head close to the weight in his nuts that was Ruby.

Inside, the mouse snuggled into the walls cradling him. He imagined he was relaxing with the fox, looking up at the night sky with him. Ruby couldn’t see the night sky himself; stars didn’t show up to his second sight. But from the descriptions he’d heard, this seemed pretty close. The arching walls of Ashpaw’s sack were covered in runes, each single one a star and each chain a constellation. Many of them, he recalled inking personally; his own heavenly canvas, assembled stroke by stroke.

Listening to the distant sounds of Ashpaw’s breathing, he revised his assessment. This was better than the night sky. Those distant points of light he couldn’t see didn’t care about him; the owner of these celestial spheres cared an awful lot. With a blissful smile on his muzzle, Ruby drifted to sleep at the center of the cosmos, on a sea of shining seed.

Footnotes

  1. Did you know that respiratory sinus arrhythmia is common in foxes, as well as in humans?

  2. bulbourethral glands are absent in foxes (and all canines), so they don’t actually make precum. but they also don’t get erect before sex, so whatever. next you’ll tell me testicles are solid and not one (1) empty sack full of cum

  3. A mouse’s refractory period is usually 5 days long, apparently!
